You keep your distance because it's easier than explaining. You're private, misunderstood, and far gentler than your reputation, and you've stopped trying to correct the record. The people who look past the shadow find someone worth knowing. You're Darkrai: solitary, protective, and better than they say.
Why Darkrai: Pokedex (DPPt, Sw): causes nightmares, but only to protect itself, and means no harm; The Rise of Darkrai: the outcast who saves the town that feared it.

How it works: 18 in-world statements rated from “Not me at all” to “Totally me” score seven traits (the Big Five plus competitiveness and independence). Your scores are matched to 200 Pokémon profiles built from Pokédex entries across the games, Mystery Dungeon, Pokémon Sleep and Legends behaviour and the anime, weighting the traits you're most extreme on.
